Do I need a consultation before treatment?
Yes. During the consultation Dr. Eduardo examines your teeth and gums, understands what you are looking for and recommends the right treatment for your case — including whether a procedure is needed at all.
What is the difference between in-office and at-home whitening?
In-office whitening is done in the chair and applied by the dentist. At-home whitening is done with trays and professional guidance. The two can also be combined. The recommendation comes from the consultation.
Is whitening right for everyone?
It depends on the health of your teeth and gums. That is why the consultation comes first: if something needs treating first, such as a cavity or inflamed gums, it is taken care of before whitening.
